You’ve never experienced New York City like this before. A quick ferry ride from downtown Manhattan, our peaceful oasis is nestled in the hills of historic Governors Island. You’ll be surrounded by sprawling green spaces, with unparalleled views of the Statue of Liberty across the New York Harbor. It’s a retreat unlike any other in the world. The retreat includes Three Peaks Lodge dining and group activities space, a great lawn, and a collection of luxury outdoor accommodations with en-suite bathrooms and a separate space with premium bell tents featuring shared bathrooms.

Getting Here: Collective Governors Island is located eight minutes from Lower Manhattan and five minutes from Brooklyn via ferry. All guests must arrive at Collective Governors Island on one of these ferries. The full ferry schedule can be found here.

Manhattan ferries run daily: 10 a.m.-4:15 p.m. (Monday-Friday) and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. (Saturdays and Sundays)
Brooklyn ferries run: 11 a.m.-5:30 p.m. (Saturdays and Sundays)

Collective Governor’s Island offers exclusive boat service for our overnight guests when the Governors Island public ferry is not running:

WEEKDAY EVENINGS AFTER WORK: Governors Island Ferry only runs until 4:15PM Monday-Thursday from 10 South St., however Collective Retreats provides guests exclusive boat service for $45 per person from Pier 25 in Hudson River Park 5-7PM on weeknights, to get to Collective Governors Island in the evening after work. Please call Collective Governors Island at (970) 445-2033 or email: governorsislandconcierge@collectiveretreats.com to book your ride. Rides may also be booked as add-ons to a booking, when you book.WEEKDAY
MORNINGS BACK TO WORK: Governors Island Ferry only starts transporting back to Manhattan at 10AM to 10 South St., however Collective Retreats guests may take exclusive morning ferries back to 10 South St. at 7:15AM, 7:45AM, 8:15AM, 8:45AM, 9:15AM, and 9:45AM. No reservations are required in advanced, see front desk for more info.

Property and Cancelation Policies :

Deposit & Cancellation Policy: Full amount due at time of reservation. Cancel 45 days prior to arrival to receive a refund. Cancellations made less than 45 days prior to arrival are fully nonrefundable. Early departures or no shows will still be chargeable at their full rate. Note: Tents have a maximum double occupancy (2 adults). Children 12 and under may be added (with a rollaway bed request) to a Summit Tent or Outlook Shelter for an additional $100 per night. Only 1 rollaway bed may be added to a Summit Tent or an Outlook Shelter. A child 6 or under may share the king bed with the parent(s) at no additional charge. Children 2 and under are free.

All rates are subject to all applicable state and local taxes—which are subject to change without notice.

Arrival Policy: All guests must arrive via the Governors Island Ferry service. Governors Island ferries do not operate 24 hours a day. The last ferry departs on weekdays from Manhattan at 4:15 p.m. and on weekends from Manhattan and Brooklyn at 5:30 p.m. For the most up to date ferry schedule, please see here. No refunds or partial refunds will be allowed for guests who miss the last ferry to the Island. Monday - Thursday Nights: 6PM or 6:30PM Arrival Day Private Boat Service from Pier 25 in Hudson River Park, Tribeca (for guest who cannot make the last public ferry at 4:15PM), please contact Collective Governors Island Concierge (970) 445-2033 or governorsislandconcierge@collectiveretreats.com, or book their boat ride at time of booking, in the booking process. Private boat service must be booked / confirmed in advance.

Company Cancellation due to Inclement Weather: Cold or inclement weather will not permit cancellations and refunds unless Collective Retreats deems the conditions make the stay unsafe. You acknowledge that Collective reserves the right to cancel your stay at any time, including once you are checked in, due to dangerous weather, or other conditions, which is solely in Collective Retreats' discretion. In the event Collective Retreats' cancels a reservation due to inclement weather, guest will be charged no more than first night's rate.

Guarantee Policy: A non-refundable deposit equal to 100% of your total stay is required no later than 24 hours after your reservation is confirmed and will be charged to your Credit Card. If credit card payment is invalid, your reservation will be automatically be cancelled.

Pet Policy: Governors Island does not allow pets.

Waiver: All guests will be required to sign a waiver at check in.
